There's so much to do in the Catskills! We know we're keeping you busy with all of our wedding weekend activities, but if you're spending more time in the area, here's a list of some of our favorite restaurants, hikes, and shops!

Overlook Mountain Hike

This hike has one of the best views from a fire tower in the Catskill Mountains and is a moderately difficult old carriage road trail. 5 miles roundtrip, 3,140 ft elevation.

Phoenicia Diner

A classic American diner on NY Route 28, serving local seasonal Catskills & Hudson Valley food. Breakfast all day, lunch 11-5, bar/lounge Fri-Sat 7-10pm.

Phoenicia Main Street

Take a stroll down Main Street in Phoenicia and check out the shops before grabbing a cone at the Ice Cream Station or a slice at Brio's

Tinker Town Tubing

The course contains the best and most extreme whitewater the Esopus has to offer. Depending on the water height an average tubing trip takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. www.towntinker.com. We recommend sneaking a bottle of sangria.

Esopus Scenic Train

The Catskill Mountain Railroad Esopus Scenic Train is a 5-mile round trip between Mt. Tremper and Boiceville — a wonderful 45-minute scenic railroad excursion. www.catskillmtrailroad.com
